In 2008 Jeep used this song in a commercial and a whole new audience fell in love with the song. It was originally a hit in 1974 by its writer, Andy Kim. Andy Kim was also one of the songwriting team, along with Jeff Barry, of songs recorded by the Archies. Sugar Sugar by the Archies was a top hit in 1969.
